  • 🏆 Best Ride with Limited Budget: Moviemax

Moviemax offers guests the thrill of high-standard interactive entertainment, typically found only in theme parks, now available at funfairs and itinerant events. Not only are visitors instantly captivated by Moviemax’s vintage Hollywood movie theatre design, but they are also drawn in by the classic light bulbs and iconic marquee signage. This meticulous attention to detail, coupled with its engaging atmosphere, ensures an enchanting experience from the moment guests arrive.

Furthermore, with four different movies to choose from, Moviemax appeals to a broad audience, including both families and teenagers. Accordingly, this variety guarantees that each visit is unique and engaging. Additionally, advanced 3D technology and special effects—such as wind, water, stroboscopes, and smoke—immerse guests in the action, making them feel as though they are part of the movie. Moreover, each film includes a competitive element, culminating in a ranking and a final winner, which adds an extra layer of excitement. Consequently, Moviemax delivers a high-quality interactive experience, bringing the magic of theme park attractions to local fairs and events, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

The new Cadbury Chocolate Quest ride at Cadbury World, near Birmingham, UK, takes budding chocolate makers on an interactive journey to source ingredients for a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar. Alterface refined Merlin Entertainments’ initial design, managed the project, coordinated suppliers for media, lighting, audio, and the ride system, and powered the ride’s effects using their Salto™ show control technology. The ride offers six interactive scenes filled with scents, wind, heat, and other special effects. Nine trackless ETF Multi Mover cars provide a throughput of 600 guests per hour. Guided by Cadbury’s beloved character Freddo and his team of Buttons monkeys, riders use “Cadbury Collectors” to gather cocoa pods and milk, eventually combining them to create a delicious Cadbury treat.

The Cadbury Chocolate Quest ride isn’t just entertaining and educational; it’s also inclusive. Alterface and Merlin Entertainments worked closely to ensure accessibility for all riders. Special armrests on certain seats offer easier access, and a newly designed car accommodates wheelchairs. Additionally, subtitles on all screens help guests with hearing difficulties fully enjoy the experience. These features ensure that every guest, regardless of physical or sensory challenges, can fully participate in the Cadbury Chocolate Quest adventure.

As we eagerly await the results of the Park World Excellence Awards, scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th in Amsterdam, we are honored to be recognized alongside the best in the industry. These nominations underscore our position as the go-to partner for innovative, high-quality interactive projects.
